Spring is slowly getting here and it makes me think of you and all your plans and ideas for your gardens, pond etc., You were so creative and imaginative! You would put colours together that most people would never consider! Can't help but chuckle when I think of us convincing (more U) Patti to paint the Kitchen Strawberry Whip lmao! Remember Kevin's face when we were finished oh my but it really did look great! Missing your laughter, sense of humour and even your dark moods Rhonda. So many memories and yet our time was cut way too short! Watch over us as we gather for the Relay again I know you & Mom will be there with us all the way!! Hey was thinking of you and all of sudden Slow Ride starts playing! Everytime I hear that song I think of you and smile! You always seemed to have happy memories when that tune played! Missing that smile very much and wishing we could get together just to hang out and talk and maybe listen to some tunes lol! Not a lot new lately (as I'm sure you know already) waiting for Spring although it was nice this weekend I guess we got our January thaw late! I was thinking about that New Year's Eve at your house when Ron was just out of the hospital. You were so kind you went out of your way to make sure he was comfortable and had everything he might need! That was you always thinking of others before yourself!! We miss you very much Rhonda and the memories just seem to flood in some days along with the tears. Christmas sucked without you and New Year's Eve will too! I can't even get into the spirit this year at all! Would like to stay home and bury my head in the sand until the season is done! Missing you very much and wishing you here with us. Remembering how every year on Chistmas Eve when everyone comes to our house for a few drinks, how you & Dad would sit & drink Rum & Egg Nog. You would never drink Rum any other day of the year (almost). But Dad still keeps coming every year & has 2 Rum & Egg Nogs now.. One for you & one for him.. Just like old times, Rhonda. I think he will keep that up as long as he can. I have been thinking of you every single day in the last month or so. I wake up & think of you, at work I am thinking of all the things we have done over the many years. When I go to sleep you are in my dreams. It is so hard to let go & I know I never will. If I am feeling like this I can't imagine how Lyns, Matt or Newf are feeling!! Just trying to get through this Christmas seems to be a lot harder than last year. As, it doesn't feel the same. Wishing so much that we could talk in person but thinking of you seems to make it a little easier these days. But all of my thoughts are good thoughts & I will always keep the mempories & fun & tears that we have shared from all the years we have been called BOOKENDS.. lOVE YOU FOREVER & EVER & will always miss you.
