The Vanderheyden Family From the Vanderheyden Family October 27, 2007

No person is ever truly alone.
Those who live no more,
Whom we loved,
Echo still within our thoughts,
Our words, our hearts.
And what they did
And who they were
Becomes a part of all that we are,
Forever.

Ashley Smulders Aunt Rhonda August 31, 2007

I am her neice and I only saw her once or twice and year. But when I did see her, I was welcomed with open arms and a big hug. I got a kiss on the cheek and once in a while a "I haven't seen you in forever, I remember when you were this tall!" I loved going to visit Aunt Rhonda because I felt like it was home. I got a warm meal, a hug when I walked in the door and out. When I got this news, I was very sad and had a cry once in a while. I am very sad to this day and I hope that Lyndsey, Matt, and Brian know that I love them very much, and will always welcome them with a big hug and a kiss on the cheek!

        Love always, LiL Smully (Ash)

Brian, David, Mark, Primo and families,
I am so sorry to hear this sad and tragic news. Rhonda and I shared many happy times while navigtating through our teenage years. I have so many memories of those times and will always treasure the uncdonditional friendship we shared. Although we had not spoken much over the years, it was always easy to reconnect and pick up where we left off when we could. Now that is a true friend! I have been blessed to have had that piece of time with her.
You are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time.
